Human Response Network held their annual two-week summer youth leadership program in June. This year we partnered with Trinity Together. The summer youth leadership program was a success, with involvement from 13 students. The youth learned how to harness their passion into valuable leadership skills. Youth were able to learn public speaking, youth advocacy, and how to be a force for positive change in the community.
We hope that after this course young people can contribute to their community by building personal well-being skills and learning about youth involvement and advocacy.
The youth were invited to create a short video that will be used to educate civic groups, organizations and decision-making bodies on how to best work with youth and include youth. Check out the videos they created below.
